Arthur Abraham and Andre Dirrell Weigh in for Saturday’s Stage 2 Super Six bout
After what has seemed like an extended wait for the second stage of the Super Six World Boxing Classic to get started, it finally gets going tomorrow evening. Of course the bout lined up is tournament leader Arthur Abraham facing Andre Dirrell, who lost a narrow decision to Carl Froch in his opening bout. The bout will be held in Dirrell’s backyard, giving Detroit boxing fans a welcome treat of a big fight. Here are the fighters’ weights and a weigh-in photo gallery as well.

Andre Dirrell: 167.5 lbs
The referee for the evening is Laurence Cole. After some uproar that all of the judges were local, there is now an international group of judges including Frank Garza (Michigan), Anek Hongtongkam (Thailand) and Guido Cavalleri (Italy).

As you can see, both fighter are fit, focused and ready to get into the ring tomorrow night, although nothing less would have been expected. Boxing luminary and Kronk alum Thomas Hearns was on hand for the festivities of the weigh-in. His son Ronald is also fighting on the undercard against the well-traveled opponent Marteze Logan.
