BOXXER promote from the Coventry Skydome this Saturday night, and it’s a hybrid show of hot prospects and established names that are in action in what is billed as a ‘breakthrough’ event, with Adam Azim headlining against Anthony Loffet.
Azim vs Loffet will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Azim (4-0, 3 KOs) is fast building a reputation for himself as a devastating puncher and entertainer, with a string of highlight reel finishes.
After a six round points win on debut, his last three outings have been eye-catching stoppages, with his most recent a second round wipe out of Connor Marsden in March.
The Slough lightweight comes up against Loffet (8-1, 2 KOs) over a scheduled eight rounds.
Not much is known of the 24-year-old Belgian, but he is limited, and was stopped in five by Surik Petrosyan in April last year in his sole professional defeat.
Loffet has won twice in 2022, the last a split decision win over eight last month against Angelo Turco.
Prediction: The plan is for Azim to look spectacular again here, and he shouldn’t disappoint. He carries real power, and can bank another early win inside the first three rounds.
Eggington battles Zysk
The always value for money, Sam Eggington attempts to take the vacant IBO super welterweight title against the unbeaten Pole, Przemyslaw Zysk.
Eggington (31-7, 18 KOs) is still only 28, but has had a long, hard career to date. The Midlander had stints as British, Commonwealth and European champion at welterweight, but his move to 154 pounds has been less successful, and he was stunned by the unknown Hassan Mwakinyo in two rounds before being halted in five by Liam Smith two fights later.
Since the Smith reverse, ‘The Savage’ lost a thriller to Ted Cheeseman, but has won three in a row since a move to Hennessy Promotions.
His last was a fight of the year contender with Bilel Jkitou last September, defending his WBC Silver belt in a breathless points win.
Eggington now meets the relatively unknown 30-year-old Zysk (18-0, 6 KOs), who fights outside of Poland for the first time, and for a scheduled twelve rounds for the first time too.

He completed the ten round distance in a points win over Juan Ruiz last time out last November, another first.
Prediction: Eggington should have too much energy for Zysk, and he can take a clear points win.
Wilson Bent and Denny rematch for English title
A rematch sees River Wilson Bent compete for the vacant English middleweight title against Tyler Denny (13-2-3) in a Midlands derby.
The pair met in November last year, where they fought to an entertaining technical draw after seven rounds, where Wilson Bent (12-0-1, 5 KOs) was cut over his eye.
Prediction: Coventry’s Wilson Bent has had two bouts in 2022 so far, banking two six round points wins, and he should take victory on the scorecards.
Remaining Undercard
Former BOXXER tournament winner Cori Gibbs (16-0, 3 KOs) can improve his unbeaten record with a points win over Carlos Perez (17-6-2 2 KOs) at super lightweight.
There is a professional debut on the card for 2020 Olympic Bronze Medallist, Karriss Artingstall, and she should get the better of her featherweight six rounder with Vaida Masiokaite (2-16-5, 1 KO) on the scorecards, as the Lithuanian has only been halted once, by Chantelle Cameron.
Recent BOXXER tournament winner, Dylan Cheema (5-0, 1 KO) also sees action, and he can score a points win over four at lightweight against Stu Greener (4-8, 1 KO).

Kaisee Benjamin (15-1-1, 6 KOs) is unbeaten in his last twelve outings, and the super lightweight should improve on that in a an early win in his scheduled ten rounder against Carlos Daniel Cordoba (15-7, 3 KOs).
Shakiel Thompson (7-0, 5 KOs), who makes his BOXXER debut, is in action, and the middleweight may need the distance to see off Bartosz Glowacki (5-8-1, 4 KOs).
Scott Forrest (1-0, 1 KO) can halt Toni Visic (20-32-2, 5 KOs) inside the four round distance at cruiserweight.
Unbeaten Irish middleweight, Aaron McKenna (14-0, 7 KOs) is set to feature against an opponent to be confirmed.
