Boxing fans across the globe were disappointed at the news several weeks ago that the Super Six Finals match between Andre Ward and Carl Froch would be postponed, the result of a nasty cut that Ward suffered in training camp. The fight is back on for December 17th now, and fight fans can go behind the scenes here thanks to Fight Camp 360 and see the Ward injury right as it happens. Watch the video below.
Basically, Fight Camp 360 was on hand in Ward’s training camp to get some footage of the undefeated champion and Super Six Finals favorite training. Little did they know that they then would have an opportunity to get some very important footage right as it all went down.
In this sneak peek from Showtime and Fight Camp 360, we’re taken into his camp and see Ward right after the cut opens, as his trainer works on him with a bloody towel and realizes how deep the cut is, and that he will be needing stitches.
