What’s most interesting here is that Ward weighed in at a full 175 lbs, taking advantage of the light heavyweight division limit and signifying his body’s adjustment to the division.
His opponent is a touch lighter, but this fight is all about Ward and what he’s going to show and prove. He’s looking to make a statement hat he’s not only a pound for pound great, but a force at 175, and hence the larger weight as he prepares to adjust for a bought against Sergey Kovalev.
