Armed Forces Collegiate Boxing Invitational shown on ESPN2

Armed Forces Collegiate Boxing Invitational Presented by USAA on ESPN2 and ESPNU:

As part of ESPN’s fifth annual America’s Heroes: A Salute to the Troops Presented by USAA initiative in recognition of Veterans Day 2013, ESPN will televise the Armed Forces Collegiate Boxing Invitational presented by USAA on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and Monday, Nov. 11, at 11 p.m. on ESPNU. John Brickley and Larry Rawson will call the action.

The event from the Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom in Crystal City, Va., will feature boxers from the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The event will also be available on WatchESPN.

It’s always nice to see amateur boxing getting some coverage, and this kind of tournament is a pretty competitive and entertaining opportunity. So if you’re into seeing amateur boxing, or simply some fun, hard-fought fights, this tournament will definitely be worth watching.
