Ronson Frank’s Uprising Promotions officially announced on Tuesday that it has signed Belgium native Sheldon Moore (14-3-1, 10 KOs), who competes in the 154-pound weight division.

“What I really like about the guys we have been adding to the Uprising team is that they are so hungry for an opportunity,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “The last thing they ask me about is financial numbers. It is all about ‘How many fights can you get me?’ and ‘How quickly can you get me in the ring?’ Guys like this with a true fighter’s mentality are the ones who we want to add to our team.”

Moore, 28, comes to Uprising Promotions following a fifth round knockout of Zoltan Sera this past May in Belgium. A winner of three of his last four bouts, with the lone loss being to unbeaten Brooklyn contender Frank Galarza, the 5-foot-10 Moore has 10 stoppages over the 14 victories on his resume. He has fought predominately in Belgium over his 18-bout pro campaign, but he has also made four appearances in the United States as well. A boxer-puncher who is not afraid to test himself, Moore has faced nine opponents with three or less defeats.

“Sheldon is a good boxer who is just looking for an opportunity to stay busy and prove himself. Those are things we plan to provide him,” Frank continued. “We have some very good plans for him and are looking to get the ball rolling very quickly on his path to becoming a world champion.”
