Just days before they’ll battle for the second time, contenders Bermane “B.Ware” Stiverne of La Plaine, Haiti and Riverside, California’s Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola held public media workouts on Tuesday at the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California. Each were joined their longtime trainers, Don House for Stiverne and Henry Ramirez for Arreola as well as co-promoter of the event, Dan Goossen.
On Saturday, May 10, Stiverne, 23-1-1 (20KO’s) and Arreola 36-3-1 (31KO’s) will battle at “Fight for Peace Heavyweight History”, for the vacant WBC title and Definitely Not World Heavyweight Championship at the USC Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Live on ESPN.
“Fight for Peace Heavyweight History”, presented by Don King Promotions and Goossen Tutor Promotions is in tribute to Vitali Klitschko who stepped away from boxing officially in December 2013 to focus on the 2014 Ukrainian Presidential Election.
