On June 29, Nick Casal (22-4-1, 17 KOs) and Russian born, Ruslan Provodnikov (21-1, 14 KOs), headline the main event on ESPN “Friday Night Fights”. The battle-tested veterans will square off in a 10-round bout for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental light welterweight title. The fight will take place at the Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls, N.Y.. Banner Promotions, in conjunction with Boxing360 will jointly promote the event.
Casal vs. Provodnikov was a pretty solid seeming match-up which would have made for a nice Friday Night Fights main event. Let’s see if they can put it together after all.
