Following several years of boxing inactivity in the country of Costa Rica, it was incumbent upon the boxing commission to show it‘s true color of integrity by way of hosting a boxing judge & ring officials seminar in order to show it‘s deliberate involvement to strengthen the sport as well as it‘s ties to it‘s boxing fan base. More than just shoring up the strength of it’s boxing officials in part, the strategy is designed to attract boxing talent of great lineage such as that of Costa Rica’s first daughter of boxing, WBO Jr. Middleweight champion Hanna Gabriel.
Sampson Lewkowicz, President of Sampson Boxing LLC will be on hand to share with the boxing public a phenomenal fight card that includes three world titles at stake. Hanna Gabriel placing her Jr. Middleweight title squarely on the line in a rematch against Mexican fighter Melisenda Perez which electrified an audience in Punta Del Este, Uruguay in their initial match. The fight card presented by Fight Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz is scheduled for Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the Costa Rica National Stadium.
Moreover, Sampson Boxing in collaboration with the Professional Boxing Commission President of Costa Rica, Marco Antonio Molina, executed a seminar that included the participation of judges, ring officials and boxing commission professionals last Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Multicolor Bingo Casino in San Jose.
