BoxNation’s deal with Top Rank has seen the channel add the recently announced Tim Bradley vs. Diego Chaves clash and Terence Crawford’s battle with Raymundo Beltran to its action-packed winter schedule.
The exciting additions join an already thrilling lineup which sees 49-year-old veteran Bernard Hopkins attempting to continue his unification of the light-heavyweight division when he faces the “Krusher” Sergey Kovalev on November 8th, plus Manny Pacquiao’s ring return against unbeaten Chris Algieri on November 22nd before rivals Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora go at it a week later on a packed night of British boxing that also features Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr as chief support.
That same night on November 29th Ricky Burns’ conqueror Crawford, regarded as one of boxing’s rising superstars, puts his belt on the line against the wily Beltran in his home city of Omaha, Nebraska.
Following a stacked November, one of the welterweight division’s elite is back in the ring when Bradley looks to bounce back from his loss to Pacquiao in April when he goes toe-to-toe with Argentine Chaves on December 13th.
“I’m excited to get back into the ring and showcase myself,” Bradley told ESPN.com.
“Chaves is not that well known but the boxing fans know him. The boxing fans know that this guy can fight and that it won’t be a walk in the park for me. I think it’s going to be a great fight. I can’t wait.”
“I give Timothy Bradley all the credit in the world for coming back after his first loss to face me, especially after seeing how I hurt Brandon Rios in my last fight,” said Chaves. “We both have a lot to prove on December 13. If Bradley thought he had it rough against Ruslan Provodnikov, wait until he collides with me.”
The 28-year-old Buenos Aires banger is one of the hardest-hitters around, with 19 knockouts from 23 fights, and will be aiming to put his disqualification loss to Brandon Rios firmly behind him as he looks to establish himself at the very top of the 147-pound division.
BoxNation’s deal with Top Rank has seen ‘The Channel of Champions’ secure a number of high profile fights over the last year with the channel now set to end the year on a high with the highly-anticipated Las Vegas return of the two-weight world champion Bradley. December also sees the return of Adonis “Superman” Stevenson on the 19th who will be defending his WBC World Light-Heavyweight title against Dimitry Sukhotsky on a card that features rising star Artur Beterbiev.
