BoxNation will be bringing the hit ‘All Access’ series exclusively to UK screens ahead of Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s super fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez next month.
The documentary kicks-off in the UK on Monday, August 26 at 7pm and will be free-to-air on BoxNation for Sky TV customers.
The series offers an intimate portrait into the lives of both fighters as it profiles boxing’s most anticipated card in over a decade, with two of the sports undefeated, and genuine pound-for-pound kings, clashing in a stunning bill at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 14.
The compelling collision between the legendary Mayweather (44-0, 26 KO’s) and rising superstar Alvarez (42-0-1, 30 KO’s) sees the WBC, WBA Super, WBA and Ring Magazine super world light-middleweight world championships all on the line.
Also featuring on the night as a co-main event is the mouthwatering clash between the reigning WBC, WBA Super and Ring Magazine super world light-welterweight world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia (26-0, 20 KO’s) as he takes on the fearsome Argentine puncher Lucas “The Machine” Matthysse (34-2, 32 KO’s) .
Ishe Smith and Carlos Molina also square off in a 12-round battle for Smith’s IBF light-middleweight world title and Britain’s Ashley Theophane, a new recruit to Mayweather Promotions, makes his Las Vegas bow against hardened Mexican Pablo Cesar Cano.
Mayweather and Alvarez are currently in the midst of their training camps, with the eight-time and five-division world champion Mayweather preferring the trappings of home as he prepares at his famed Las Vegas gym. Alvarez, however, is on the road having left his native Mexico to set up camp at Big Bear Lake in California.
‘All Access: Mayweather vs. Alvarez’ will allow viewers to experience the contrast in the two camps as well as getting up close and personal as they embark on an unprecedented 10-city, two-country media tour to formally announce the most highly anticipated boxing event in recent memory.
