Manny Pacquiao will host his only Los Angeles Media Day Workout Today! Wednesday, May 30, at Wild Card Boxing Club. Pacquiao has only five days remaining of training camp before heading to Las Vegas and fight week for his world title defense against undefeated world champion Timothy Bradley.
Bradley hosted his own Media Day workout in Los Angeles Tuesday. How confident was Bradley that he would dethrone Pacman on June 9? Well, Bradley was posing with fight poster he custom designed – for the REMATCH! The poster also lists the on-sale date for tickets as June 10 – the day after their Las Vegas fight.
Of course, Bradley being supremely confident should come as no surprise to ProBoxing-Fans.com readers. In our exclusive, in-depth interview with Tim Bradley last week, he talked about defeating Pacquiao, facing him again and defeating him for a second time, then doing the same thing to Floyd Mayweather and retiring at the age of 30, undefeated, coming off those four straight wins! The confidence makes for great publicity, but it’s not fake either, he means what he says.
You can view the picture of Bradley with his rematch fight poster below, along with a collection of photos from Bradley’s recent media workout as he begins to wrap up his preparations for the (First!) fight.
Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KOs), boxing’s only eight-division world champion and the lone congressional representative from the Sarangani province in the Philippines, will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship crown against WBO junior welterweight champion Bradley (28-0, 12 KOs), of Palm Springs, Calif., Saturday, June 9, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The Pacquiao-Bradley world championship fight will be produced and distributed Live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.
