After weeks and weeks of buildup, the Timothy Bradley vs. Devon Alexander fight is finally upon us, Saturday evening January 28th, live on HBO at 10 pm Eastern. The Bradley vs. Alexander weigh-in was held this afternoon in preparation for the bout. Check out the weigh-in results, the weights and a few photos from the event.
Bradley vs. Alexander Weights
- Timothy Bradley: 139.5 lbs
- Devon Alexander: 140 lbs
Both fighters looked to be in extremely good condition for the fight, and the weigh-in was a pretty spirited event, with both fighters having plenty to say, and both fighters looking amped and ready for the showdown Saturday night. Bradley is definitely the broader and more muscular fighter, and Alexander has a noticeable height advantage when they stand next to one another. Without a doubt though, each man looked confident and in the best shape of his life, and both should be supremely conditioned for tomorrow evening.
Bradley co-promoter Gary Shaw and Alexander trainer/manager Kevin Cunningham took part in a coin flip to determine the order of the ring entrances. Team Alexander won the flip, and will enter the ring second, making Bradley enter the ring first.
