Undercard Results
In the co-featured fight of the evening, Orlando Salido once again becomes a world champion, as he defeated Orlando Cruz via 7th round knockout to win the vacant WBO featherweight strap. Salido was just too much for Cruz — too strong, determined, powerful and experienced.
Vasyl Lomachenko, Ukraianian Olympic great, made a statement with his pro debut, stopping Jose Ramriez at the end of the 4th round. Ramirez, who had never been stopped before, came into the fight with a 25-3 pro record, and Lomachenko tore right through him.
It also shows all the other coddled Olympic greats out there, hey, what are you doing? Step up and start fighting real opponents immediately.
The undefeated Seanie Monaghan scored a 3rd round stoppage win over his overmatched opponent, Anthony Caputo smith.
