The final press conference was held on Thursday for this weekend’s clash between undefeated Jessie Vargas and Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley Jr. The two met once again at the presser today, and posed during the final press conference for their world title fight, Saturday, June 27, at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The heated build up to the fight, which has included plenty back and forth chatter, continued.

This gets finished on Saturday, was the recurring theme. Bradley has gotten into it with both Vargas, and his trainer Erik Morales, and there has been trash talking all around. This is a huge step up for Vargas, so first we’ll see if we can handle the opponent, and then we’ll see if he can handle that in conjunction with all of this pre-fight talk which has clearly gotten under his and his team’s skin a bit.
The weigh-ins are held tomorrow, and the fights will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing, beginning at 9:45 pm. Be sure to keep on checking back with us for more over the next coming days.
