WBO Super-Featherweight champion Eva Brodnicka says she’s targeting the winner of Terri Harper and Natasha Jonas after signing a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing

Brodnicka (19-0, 2 KOs) has made five successful defences of her crown after winning the full title against Sarah Pucek in 2018, having held the interim belt.

The undefeated Pole, who claimed a shutout win over Djemilla Gontaruk in March, admits she has one eye on Friday’s WBC Super-Featherweight showdown between Harper and Jonas from Matchroom HQ and is looking to unify with the victor of the historic, first female, all-British World title fight.

“I’m delighted to team up with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing,” Brodnicka said.

“Women’s boxing is on fire right now and I want to be in all the big fights starting with the unification match up between the winner of Harper and Jonas.

“I’m excited for the future and can’t wait for my return to the ring.”

The 36-year-old, a former European champion at Lightweight, has yet to fight outside of her native Poland and joins the Matchroom roster, which features undisputed 140lbs champion Katie Taylor, undisputed Welterweight titlist Cecilia Braekhus amongst others.

“I’m delighted to welcome Ewa to the team,” Promoter Eddie Hearn said.

“This sets up a huge unification fight between the winner of Terri Harper vs. Natasha Jonas at Fight Camp at a time where women’s boxing continues to go from strength to strength.”
