Tonight on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights from the Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Sacramento, California, Juan Carlos Burgos will take on Yakubu Amidu for the WBO Intercontinental strap. Also on the fight will be a bout between Miguel Gonzalez and Josenilson Dos Santos, and another turn in the ring for former Olympic star Taras Shelestyuk.

It’s always fun to see Burgos fight, and this is another opportunity for him to prove his status in the sport. He had been scheduled to be in a more high profile fight, but Yakubu Amidu had to fill in as a late replacement.
