Lightweight Carlos Molina stayed unbeaten, and continues to move closer to contention. He is the older brother of current Mexican Olympic boxer Oscar Molina, as well as current professional and former US Olympian Javier Molina.

Golden Boy Promotions will co-promote the June 30 edition of “Sólo Boxeo Tecate” with Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment which features Michael Perez (18-1, 10 KO’s) of Lares, Puerto Rico and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico’s Eric Cruz (13-9-3, 13 KO’s) facing off in a 10-round lightweight main event and, in the co-featured fight at the Coliseo Roger Mendoza in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Jeffrey Fontanez (5-0, 5 KO’s) of Caguas, Puerto Rico and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico’s Pedro Hernandez (6-5-1, 2 KO’s) squaring off in a four-round junior welterweight bout.
