Premier Boxing Champions have announced a blockbuster return with nine events and eight World championship fights starting on August 1 on SHOWTIME.

World champion twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo, two-weight titlist Gervonta Davis and WBC Super-Middleweight king David Benavidez all feature, as PBC come back following the COVID-19 pandemic, behind closed doors from Mohegan Sun Arena, Connecticut.

On night one, undefeated pair Stephen Fulton Jr (18-0, 8 KOs) and Angelo Leo (19-0, 9 KOs) contest the vacant WBO Super-Bantamweight title, following Emmanuel Navarette’s decision to move up to Featherweight and relinquish the belt.

WBC 168lbs champion, Benavidez (22-0, 19 KOs) makes a third defence of his crown after almost 11 months out when he faces former World title challenger Roamer Alexis Angulo (26-1, 22 KOs) on August 15, whilst the undercard features Tyson Fury’s former foe Otto Wallin (20-1, 13 KOs) in a clash with Travis Kauffman (32-3, 23 KOs).

The action continues into September with Erickson Lubin (22-1, 16 KOs) looking to register a fifth straight win since his 1st round humbling to Jermell Charlo in 2017 in a WBC Super-Welterweight title eliminator against Terrell Gausha (21-1-1, 10 KOs).

Rising Welterweight contender Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis (25-0, 23 KOs) will be looking to make more strides in his co-feature bout to be confirmed.

On the same night, WBC Super-Welterweight titlist Jermell Charlo (33-1, 17 KOs) will face WBA ‘Super,’ IBF and IBO champion Jeison Rosario in a mouthwatering unification battle, after becoming a two-time World champion in December.

Gervonta Davis and Leo Santa Cruz will headline the second PPV on October 24th with both men’s WBA Super-Featherweight and WBA Lightweight titles on the line.
