The Miguel Cotto vs. Delvin Rodriguez weigh-ins were held this afternoon in Orlando, Florida, in advance of their HBO-televised clash on Saturday night. Right here, you’ll find the official weights for the fighters, along with a collection Cotto vs. Rodriguez weigh-in photos, and notes from the event as well.
Cotto vs. Rodriguez Weights
- Miguel Cotto: 153.2 lbs
- Delvin Rodriguez: 154 lbs
Both guys were able to make weight on the first attempt, and each looks to be in excellent condition. Cotto seemed very focused and honed in during the event, and Rodriguez was also pretty low key. They had a lengthy stare down after stepping on the scales, and Cotto was all business.
“I’m going to do my work the best I can,” said Cotto on facing the prospect of coming back from a two-fight losing streak for the first time in his career.
In the co-main event, Crawford vs. Klimov:
- Terence Crawford: 134.6 lbs
- Andrey Klimov: 134.5 lbs
The undercard is also filled with fellow Puerto Rican boxers such as Jorge Melendez and the undefeated super-prospect Felix Verdejo. Cotto had more fans in attendance, but Rodriguez had his own supporters as well. Should be a good fight and a fun crowd on fight night. The fighters put on special Orlando Magic jerseys with their names on the back as they faced off.
