On a strange night at York Hall, Ben Crocker and Tiernan Bradley fought to a draw for the IBF European super lightweight title in a hastily-arranged new headliner.

The main event was due to see Daniel Blenda Dos Santos defend his European light heavyweight title against late-replacement Bradley Rea for a superb opportunity at short notice, but his shot at the title was dashed with hours to spare as Dos Santos withdrew and Crocker vs Bradley upgraded to main event status.

Bradley (10-0-1, 5 KOs) worked well off his jab early on, but both struggled to find their timing and range over the first three rounds.

Crocker (14-0-1, 2 KOs) started to hold his feet more in the fourth to good effect, and put his punches together nicely in the fifth, but that galvanised the Irishman, who was pressed into action, landing a good right hand on the bell.

Bradley was rolling with the momentum he had gained, and a right hand buzzed the champion in the sixth, with several more of the same shots landing as the Welshman looked shaky.

The 28-year-old was just a step ahead, with Crocker just not busy enough, and with the contest going into the last two rounds, it looked like he would need knockdowns to retain his title.

Bradley had never previously been past eight rounds, and Crocker got the better of round nine, with the pair going for broke in the last round as the action came to a close.

A score of 97-93 for each boxer was cancelled out by a 95-95 tally for a third judge.

Fury sees off Garber

Hughie Fury kept on track for a potential meeting with Dillian Whyte, as he took a fifth round stoppage against Dan Garber in their heavyweight clash set for six.

Fury (30-3, 17 KOs) did pretty much as he pleased, constantly pinning Gerber (9-5, 2 KOs) to the ropes to unload, and he finally made the breakthrough in the fifth, dropping the 39-year-old with a left hand.

On the resumption, another attack in the corner forced the referee to finally intervene.

Dolan battles past Parker

Emma Dolan retained her British and Commonwealth super flyweight titles, as she turned back the challenge of Lauren Parker (10-2-1, 2 KOs).

Scores of 98-92, 98-93 and 97-94 ensured that Dolan (8-0, 1 KO) walked out with the belts.

Remaining Undercard

There were two eight rounders, with one bout coming at welterweight, where unbeaten prospect Kieran Molloy (11-0, 6 KOs) impressed, taking a fifth round stoppage win over the tough Italian, Riccardo Crepaldi (11-7, 1 KO).

Light heavyweight novice, Gradus Kraus (5-0, 5 KOs) continued his perfect record, needing less than a round to dispatch Tony Amoaku (5-1-1, 2 KOs), and Essex super lightweight Louie O’Doherty (9-0, 2 KOs) won all six rounds against Reuquen Cona Facundo Arce (18-19-2, 7 KOs).
