Keyshawn Davis headlines in his hometown this Saturday at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, taking a ten round assignment against tough Argentine, Gustavo Daniel Lemos at lightweight.

Bob Arum’s Top Rank promote Davis vs Lemos and you can see the card live on Sky Sports in the UK and on ESPN+ in the USA.

Davis (11-0, 7 KOs) has been at ten round level for his past five outings, beginning with a ninth round stoppage of Anthony Yigit in April last year, and after outclassing Francesco Patera in July 2023, he then had a majority decision win against Nahir Albright overturned to a no contest as he tested positive for marijuana post-fight.

2024 has seen two more wins for the 25-year-old, an impressive sixth round stoppage victory over Jose Pedraza was followed by a wide points win over Miguel Madueno in July.

It’s the experienced Lemos (29-1, 19 KOs) next for ‘The Businessman’, with the Buenos Aires native coming off a first defeat in his most recent contest.

The 28-year-old gave Richardson Hitchins a very good argument, losing by two points on two cards in April and drops down in weight for this contest.

Prediction: Davis will look to set up a big 2025 with victory here, and he will hope to be in line for a world title shot at the earliest opportunity. He may need the full ten rounds though to see off Lemos, and he can do it clearly on the scorecards.

Aleem faces Gerarldo

Ra’eese Aleem (20-1, 12 KOs) is another coming off a first career loss, as he went down by split decision in Australia to Sam Goodman, and he should return to winning ways here in his featherweight meeting with Derlyn Hernandez-Gerarldo (12-2-1, 10 KOs).

Prediction: Aleem can secure an early win here, with both of Hernandez-Gerarldo’s losses coming inside two rounds.

Remaining Undercard

Troy Isley (13-0, 5 KOs) should extend his unbeaten run, but he may have to settle for another points win in his middleweight clash with Tyler Howard (20-1, 11 KOs).

In eight rounders, rising talent, Abdullah Mason (15-0, 13 KOs) can take another early victory, this time against Yohan Vasquez (26-5, 21 KOs) at lightweight, and at middleweight, Austin Deanda (15-0, 10 KOs) can stop DeAundre Pettus (12-2, 7 KOs).

Keyshawn’s older brother, Kelvin Davis (13-0, 7 KOs) is another unbeaten prospect on the card, and the Virginian can secure a stoppage in his welterweight outing against Yeis Gabriel Solano (15-3, 10 KOs).

The only six rounder comes at super featherweight, where Robert Meriwether III (7-0, 3 KOs) can outscore Eric Howard (6-2, 1 KO).

The sole four round contest is at super welterweight, and debutant Keon Davis, younger brother of Keyshawn and Kelvin, can win on points against Jalen Moore (1-1, 1 KO).
