Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is just over a fortnight away – and Derek Chisora has weighed in with his verdict.
Chisora will no doubt be one of the tens of thousands in attendance when Eubank Jr and Benn finally settle a score that dates back over two-and-a-half years.
The pair have had to be separated by security on several occasions since the fight was announced, with tensions boiling over completely after ‘Next Gen’ slapped his younger adversary with an egg.
Opinions are split over which man will come out on top, and ‘Del Boy’ stopped short of predicting a winner when speaking to talkSPORT.
However, he admitted he believes whoever is on the wrong end of the result will “leave in an ambulance.”

“I love both fighters so I’m not going to say who’s gonna win, cause I believe the loser will leave in an ambulance.
“I just want them to come out healthy and safe.”
Initially only matched together because of their fathers’ rivalry in the 1990s, there is now genuine bad blood between the pair after their first meeting was canned due to Benn failing two VADA tests.

‘The Destroyer’ has been a welterweight for most of his career, but will jump up two weight classes to take on Eubank at middleweight, and many pundits believe the size disparity could prove decisive on the night.
However, there is a 10lb next day rehydration limit in place, which in theory should be to favour the naturally smaller mans benefit.
‼️ Chris Eubank Sr has spoken out about his son slapping Conor Benn with an egg:
“This is not the behaviour I understand – where did that come from? I’m supposed to be his example.”

Also contractually stipulated is a two-way rematch clause, meaning there’s every chance fight fans could see the two family rivals run it back later in the year.
For now though, all roads lead to Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium on April 26th, which will see one of the biggest clashes British shores have seen for years.
