As previously announced, with October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, DiBella has teamed up with the Breast Cancer Charities of America (BCCA), the iGoPink campaign, P3R Publicity and Everlast to help raise awareness with the exciting 10-bout card. As part of a month long marketing campaign, Everlast will be donating a pink canvas, as well as pink gloves for all bouts on the card.
“We remain fully committed to creating awareness and supporting the fight against breast cancer,” stated Neil Morton, CEO of Everlast. Everlast has been a long time supporter of the fight against breast cancer, including donating a portion of sales for select Pink products to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
In addition to a portion of sales being donated by Everlast, DiBella has joined the movement on Twitter where he will donate $.50 for every new Twitter follower up until October 31st.
Also getting involved with the movement and campaign is TV Personality and MTV Host Layla Kayleigh. Kayleigh has been working with the iGoPink campaign for sometime now and recently was part of Nick Saglimbeni’s iGoPink photoshoot campaign (Photo by Saglimbeni below).
“I was so happy to hear that a heavy weight like Lou Dibella who has promoted some of the biggest boxing events of all time, is lending his support to an even bigger fight, the fight against breast cancer. It is a cause close to my heart and I’m honored to be working with BCCA to bring awareness to such an important cause. As a huge fight fan I am hoping for a knockout victory against breast cancer and finding a cure,” said Layla Kayleigh.
“It’s wonderful to see the BCCA and the iGoPink campaign getting such fantastic support from DiBella Entertainment. The fight will undoubtedly shine a bright light on a cause that needs as much attention as possible.” Nick Saglimbeni, Publisher, WMB 3D Magazine & BCCA Campaign Photographer.
