Peter Dobson has labelled Conor Benn a “bum” and admits he’s shocked that he is such a big underdog to defeat the British welterweight.
Dobson challenges Benn at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas on February 3, live on DAZN.
The unbeaten American is at least a 5/1 outsider to inflict a first professional defeat on ‘The Destroyer’ and has urged fans to bet on him to upset the odds.
“If you wanna win some bread (money), bet on me for February 3rd,” Dobson said in a video.
“Conor Benn is a bum and they got him beating me on the odds in Vegas.
“So, that’s an easy come up.
“If you put $100 down you win $500.
“The kid is a bum. I don’t know how they think he can beat me.”
Benn fights for the second time since two failed VADA tests scuppered his scheduled bout against Chris Eubank Jr.
The 27-year-old, who tested positive for the banned substance Clomiphene, was subsequently cleared of wrongdoing by UK Anti-Doping in July, but he has been at loggerheads with the British Boxing Board of Control [BBBofC] since relinquishing his licence.
Until his issues with the BBBofC are resolved, Benn is unable to box in the UK and returned with a unanimous decision win over Rodolfo Orozco in September.
Nevertheless, the Ilford native has warned of a devastating display when he makes his debut in Sin City.

“I’m going to make an example of him,” Benn said.
“He can do the talking. Talk as much as you want, the outcome will be the same.
“Delusion is one hell of a thing and there’s a fine line between delusion and confidence.
“I know what I am bringing in and that’s sheer violence, sheer brutality, sheer spite.
“Whatever he does, I do better, and I am going in there to handle business and deal with him in serious fashion.”
