Daniel Dubois believes Tyson Fury will return to the ring and insists a fight between them could happen.
Fury ended hopes of all-British showdowns with the likes of Dubois and long-time rival Anthony Joshua, after calling time on his career last Monday, less than a month on from his second straight defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
However, ‘Dynamite’ feels his compatriot will come back in a similar vein to when he retired in April 2022, only to return seven months later.
Should ‘The Gypsy King’ end his latest retirement, Dubois insists a fight with Joshua must happen and has opened the door to facing the winner.
“I think he will come back for sure,” the 27-year-old told talkSPORT.
“He has always been doing this throughout his whole career, the mind games and everything.
“So I think he will be back. He plays different characters. He will be back for sure.
“Get them in the ring [Joshua and Fury].
“I want to see them fight now.
“I bashed up Joshua so he’s got to fight Fury.
“I want to see what they have got left between those two.
“And then maybe I’ll fight the winner.”
The Londoner knocked out ‘AJ’ in five rounds in September at Wembley Stadium and will defend his IBF heavyweight world title against Joseph Parker on February 22 in Riyadh.
Dubois stormed the ring after Usyk’s rematch victory over Fury to call for a rematch of their August 2023 clash.

The Londoner’s argument for desiring a rematch is centred around a controversial low blow in the fifth round of his bout with the Ukrainian, which he believes was a legal shot.
“Usyk I want my revenge,” he said.
“Well done on tonight.
“I want my revenge for the robbery last time.
“Let’s get it. Let’s go.”
