This Friday, October 21, Edwin “La Bomba” Rodriguez (19-0, 14KO’s) headlines the DiBella Entertainment “Octoberfist: Fight Night Done Right” cardfrom the beautiful MGM Grand at Foxwoods against fellow undefeated super middleweight prospect, Will “Power” Rosinsky (14-0, 8KO’s). The bout will be televised on ShoBox: The New Generation, live on SHOWTIME®at 11PM ET/PT (delayed on the West Coast).
With a sellout crowd expected, promoter Lou DiBella, at the request of Rodriguez, has made sure to set aside a block of tickets for the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester so that the club can watch Edwin live in the most important fight of his young professional career.
“The Boys and Girls Club was instrumental in my profession as a boxer as it is where I first started getting into boxing. It is also where I met my eventual wife, so it’s important for me to be able to give back to them, and have them there cheering for me. I am thrilled to be on a team with Lou DiBella where giving back to the community isn’t the exception, it’s the rule,” said Rodriguez.
