This means that all of the big names were able to keep on winning. Prospect Eloy Perez won the WBO NABO Strap over Dominic Salcido, advancing his record to 19-0 and setting himself up in good position to soon fight for a full title at super featherweight.

Prospects Frankie Gomez, now 7-0, and Randy Caballero, now 5-0, were able to win impressively in their short bouts, with Caballero going the distance for hte first time in his career.

Heavyweight Seth Mitchell won via knockout to advance his record to 19-0 with 13 KOs. Meanwhile, US Olympic Bronze medalist Deontay Wilder fought and was able to win by TKO in the fourth round, moving his record to 13-0 with 13 KOs. But it wasn’t easy.

He actually was floored at the end of the second and had to return to his feet, marking the first time in his career he had to face any adversity. Against a 17-21-2 fighter, it also shows just how much work Wilder still has to do before becoming a real threat to the division.
