Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Rodriguez improved to 11-0, 7 KOs with his win over Gabor Molnar ( 16-7, 10 KO’s ) by TKO in the second round in a 10 round main event held at the Francisco ‘Pancho’ Deida Coliseum in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. Rodriguez was supposed to face Dominican title contender, Luis Hinojosa but visa issues cancelled the fight. Molnar entered the fight as a one week replacement.

From the beginning of the fight, Rodriguez was effective by being the aggressor, and attacked the body with lots of solid right and left hooks. Molnar visited the canvas four times, twice in each round, until the referee stopped the fight.

“Thanks to the fans for being here, and for supporting all the talents that were involved in the boxing card. My opponent gave his best, and he earned my respect because he came to fight but it was my night to win,” stated Emmanuel Rodriguez, who is currently ranked number 9 by the WBO.
