ESPN3 will present exclusive live coverage in the U.S. of the 12-round WBA Super Bantamweight title bout between Scott Quigg (26-0-1, 19 KOs) and Yoandris Salinas (20-0-1, 13 KOs) on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 3:30 p.m. ET. The card, from London’s O2 Arena, will also include the professional debut of British Heavyweight and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Anthony Joshua.
“ESPN3 provides a great opportunity to provide boxing fans with easy access to world-class fights that previously would not have been shown in the United States,” said Brian Kweder, senior director of programming and acquisitions at ESPN. “We are happy to feature this world title matchup on ESPN3.”

This is a nice opportunity for stateside fight fans to catch the title bout between Quigg and Salinas, which has big implications for that division, as well as the pro debut of Joshua, the heavily-hyped next great British heavyweight hope.
