Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn have reached a deal to fight in London in April, Turki Alalshikh confirmed on Wednesday morning.
Eubank Jr and Benn are set to meet in a rearranged middleweight grudge match, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the frontrunner to host the bout.
The pair were meant to meet in October 2022 at 157lb catchweight, but the showdown was shelved on fight week after Benn tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene.
The National Anti-Doping Panel lifted Benn’s suspension in November, meaning the Essex man is now able to fight in the UK, after having his last two fights in America.
Alalshikh, the Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, has been the instrumental figure in sealing a deal when it appeared that both men were looking in different directions.
“Eubank Jr vs Benn done in April, London, by the name of (Fatal Fury City of the Wolves),” Alalshikh posted on X.
“Soon I will announce the day and the location, it will be The Ring’s first card in collaboration with the video game and SNK, and I will push to make PPV price 19.99 GBP for the fans, with tough undercard…
“Lets get boxing great again and wait for huge announcement soon.”
The British rivals were both present at the Ring Awards in London on Saturday with Benn, who will move up two weight classes, telling Pro Boxing Fans that he remained open to a clash with WBC welterweight champion, Mario Barrios if the Eubank Jr fight could not be agreed.
“I’ve said yes to Barrios, I’ve said yes to Eubank,” the 28-year-old said.
“So let’s see which one unfolds.”

The pair will meet almost 25 years after their fathers fought in the first of two world title fights, in a rivalry which captivated the British public.
According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, both men cannot come in any more than 10lbs over the 160lb limit on the day of the bout, which is expected to be staged on April 26.
Eubank Jr scored a seventh round knockout of Kamil Szeremeta to take the IBO middleweight title in October, after which Benn confronted him in the ring.
