Undefeated Puerto Rican super prospect Felix Verdejo has been hard at work in camp, preparing for his biggest showcase to date, an opportunity to fight on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios pay-per-view card on November 23.
Right here, you’ll find a collection of training camp photos, and a video of Verdejo in action at the gym, to take a look at the phenom.
Verdejo, who represented Puerto Rico at the 2012 London Olympics, is currently 8-0 with 6 knockouts, with all of his bouts coming within the last 11 months since turning pro. It’s a busy slate, and the kind of schedule you want a highly touted guy like this to be on. He’s already penciled in for another bout in December as well, which would get him to 10 fights in his first year as a pro.
Everyone who has seen Verdejo fight definitely thinks that he’s legit and is a fighter to watch. Still just 20 years old, he could become the future face of Puerto Rican in another year or two.
