The stars were out in Los Angeles on Thursday night, as Golden Boy Promotions and AEG’s “Fight Night Club” ended its 2010 season with a rousing eight round battle that saw unbeaten lightweight prospect Carlos Molina defeat Puerto Rico’s gritty John Figueroa in front of a near sell-out crowd of 2,270 fans at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia.
On hand for the action-packed card were some of boxing’s most popular fighters, including future Hall of Famer and President of Golden Boy Promotions Oscar de la Hoya, current World Champion Amir Khan, former World Champions Sergio Mora, Daniel Ponce De Leon and Paulie Malignaggi as well as rising stars Vicente Escobedo, Charles Huerta, Sharif Bogere and Frankie Gomez.
But that’s not all, as stars from the entertainment world including Will i Am, Mario Lopez, Baby Bash, Aubrey O’Day and Tattoo joined the fans in attendance at the season finale of boxing’s hottest series, which will return bigger and better than ever in 2011.
