Weigh-in Results for Mayweather-Mosley
The weigh-in for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley fight as an event all to itself. Thousands of fans were in attendance, and the crowd was decently split in terms of who they were rooting for. Mayweather got as many jeers as cheers, but both men received loud ovations as they walked up to the stage. The weigh-in was emceed by ring announcer Michael Buffer, with the assistance of a famous comedian and there were a host of dignitaries on hand.
Shane Mosley was the first to step on the scale for the weigh-in. Mosley’s official weight was:

Floyd Mayweather was the second on the scales and his weight was:
- Floyd Mayweather: 146 lbs
Both men looked to be cut and in excellent shape, with Mayweather looking as big and muscular as perhaps he ever has. The stare down was exended and for the most part prety calm between Mayweather and Mosley. The men doing the most talking were from the camps. Naazim Richardson started jawing, as did Leonard Ellerbe from Mayweather’s camp.
There were over 6,000 fans in attendance, and they had to shut down the doors to prevent more fans from coming in. Plenty of big name boxers both past and present were on hand as well. ESPN televised the weigh-in live, and HBO.com also showed a live video stream of the entire affair.
