Yesterday afternoon, Floyd Mayweather held his public workout and media training session from his boxing gym in Las Vegas, in preparation for this September 17th bout against Victor Ortiz, now just 10 days away. Also in attendance, besides all of Mayweather’s camp and the usual suspects and familiar names, was Mayweather-backed fighter, Jessie Vargas, who takes on Josesito Lopez on the undercard of the Star Power PPV. Fans around the world had the privilege of being able to watch the training session and workout via the Internet and a livestream. Mayweather worked the mitts with Roger and did the rest of his usual routine. He seems fired up, focused and ready to go, and was dismissive about any problems with his father or about the fight against Ortiz being nothing but a tune-up for Manny Pacquiao.
