Enfield Super Middleweight Frank Buglioni, who faces Russian WBA Super Middleweight titlist Fedor Chudinov on September 26th, believes a Title win at Wembley Arena could set up an all British unification fight with either George Groves who challenges for the WBC title against Badou Jack on September 12th or reigning IBF titlist James DeGale.
“Once I pick up a World Title belt all those big domestic clashes open up for me. I see myself on a level with those guys and a win against Chudinov will prove that.”
“However I am not looking past Chudinov. I’m expecting the toughest fight of my career, but you will see a career best Frank Buglioni on the 26th September, my preparations so far have been excellent”
The ‘Wise Guy’ is particularly interested in an all British clash with fellow Chelsea diehard fan George Groves.
“It would be a great if we both win our world title fights. A unification fight him at Stamford Bridge in the summer would be a dream come true as we are both big Chelsea fans”
“We have sparred a lot in the past, he is the quality fighter but I would fancy my chances”
Bugiloni’s opponent for Wembley Arena Chudinov is coming off a career best win against multi occasion World Champion Felix Sturm where he picked up the vacant title, and has looked ‘machine like’ in his last few performances, but Buglioni is confident that he can upset the odds to become a world champion mere miles from his home.
“This is what every fighter dreams about, I am not going to blow my chance.”
