Promoter Frank Warren has announced that he will not be renewing his management and promotional contracts with welterweight boxer Frankie Gavin.
Warren, who signed Gavin in 2008, helped him make his professional debut in 2009, and guided him to British, Commonwealth and WBO Intercontinental titles in his 22-fight career. In addition Warren secured Gavin a hometown European title opportunity that was also a final Eliminator for the WBO title and also steered him to number one spot in the WBO.
Warren wishes Mr. Gavin all the best in his future career.

The split seems amicable, but also seems like it’s an odd time. Gavin is coming off a solid win off previously unbeaten Bradley Skeete. His only career loss was two fights ago, in a split decision against Leonard Bundu, who just went the distance against Keith Thurman albeit in a shutout defeat.
We’ll have to wait and see what’s next for Gavin and who he’s planning on connecting with at this stage.
