Carl Froch has had plenty to say about Jake Paul over the years, and has fired more criticism the way of the YouTuber-turned-boxer this week.
Froch has been amongst the most ardent critics of Paul since he tried his hand at boxing, and there was even speculation that the pair may settle their differences in the ring.
The press conference for the 27-year-old’s rescheduled fight with Mike Tyson took place on Sunday, with plenty of verbal back-and-forth and some light shoving during a face-off.
Speaking on his YouTube channel Froch on Fighting, ‘The Cobra’ didn’t seem to be particularly impressed.
“He [Jake Paul] is in the business of making money and he knows how to make money, so fair play to him.

“But is he taking himself as a professional boxer? Unfortunately I think he is – and I think it’s a f***ing disgrace!
“He’s jumping in with a 58-year-old Mike Tyson when he’s only 26 himself, and he’s going to try and take some kudos and big himself up during the build-up.
“In my opinion, Mike Tyson will just be playing his role. He’s probably got the script.
“At the press conference there was a half-hearted shove from Tyson and Jake Paul just stood there stern looking, I don’t think he even said anything.
“It all just looked really contrived, it looked really fake. It’s not even pantomime – it’s worse than pantomime.”
‘The Problem Child’ announced the surprise showdown with the former undisputed heavyweight champion out of nowhere, with no leaks or rumours before the fight was set.
A July 20 date was initially announced, but medical concerns for ‘Iron Mike’ saw it postponed, with the Ohio man instead KO’ing bare knuckle star Mike Perry to move to 11-1.
Paul, whose second pro fight was on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr in 2020, has been out twice this year already having also beaten the limited Ryan Bourland via a first round stoppage back in March.
Tyson meanwhile, who was once one of the most feared heavyweights on the planet, hasn’t been in the ring for four years since his meeting with Jones Jr and there are many with concerns over whether or not he is genuinely fit to fight.
The polarising contest will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, which holds a whopping 80,000.
