Carl Froch has challenged Anthony Joshua to meet him face-to-face to finally settle their ongoing feud.
Joshua and Froch, who were once stablemates under trainer Robert McCracken, have drifted apart over the years and their once friendly relationship appears to have boiled over dramatically.
Former super middleweight world champion, Froch leaked a series of WhatsApp exchanges he had with ‘AJ’ following the former unified heavyweight champion’s press conference with Daniel Dubois to announce their showdown at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
‘The Cobra’ questioned why his compatriot apparently called him a “pr***” to which the Watford man replied, “because I think you are.”
Froch, who revealed the messages on his YouTube channel Froch On Fighting, continued to swipe at the former two-time heavyweight world champion, labelling him a quitter for his 7th round loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, a defeat he avenged six months later.
The Nottingham man has now issued a fresh message to ‘AJ’ calling for him to meet him one-on-one to settle their differences.
“It’s schoolboy stuff,” the 47-year-old told BestOnlinePokerSites.
“It’s like plastic gangsters. It’s pathetic really.
“He messaged me again overnight and deleted four messages.

“I’ve had a barrage of abuse, but I don’t mind meeting up and dealing with it like men.
“Because, if you’re going to send me messages, abusing me, then deleting stuff, and then you don’t pick your phone up when I try to give you a call man to man.
“Then what am I going to do?
“I’m going to expose you for what you are.”
Joshua challenges Dubois for the IBF heavyweight crown, after then-undisputed champion, Oleksandr Usyk relinquished the belt earlier this month and Dubois was elevated from interim titlist to full champion.
The 34-year-old is on a run of four successive victories since back-to-back losses to Usyk, his last outing a second round knockout over Francis Ngannou in March.
Dubois, 26, has won two on the bounce since also losing to Usyk, most recently recording an eighth round stoppage over Filip Hrgovic last month.
