- Mikkel Kessler: 166.5 lbs — 11 stone, 12 lbs, 7 oz
- Carl Froch: 167.5 lbs — 11 stone, 13 lbs, 9 oz
Each man was able to make weight comfortably, and came in beneath the division limit of 168 lbs. As some have noted, Kessler looks a bit more gaunt or thin than usual, so perhaps he has either dropped a bit of muscle mass, or just has really been struggling to cut down to make weight, which could also explain coming in too far under. We’ll see if that has any effect on him on fight night.

Carl Froch says he feels like a racing car at the red lights after weighing in for his blockbuster rematch.
“I am sparking, I’m like a racing car at the red light,” said Froch. “I don’t crack up under pressure, I’m relishing the occasion, the whole thing is World class and it’s what World Championship boxing is all about.
“I’ve got to execute my game plan tomorrow night. I know what I need to do. I’m in the best possible shape I could be in and things couldn’t be better. I’m at my best tomorrow night and he’s in for a shock.
“You will see the best of Carl Froch – I’ve proved I can mix it with the best, it’s a rematch for redemption and it’s going to be one hell of a fight.”
