June 6: Miguel Cotto vs. Daniel Geale – Live on HBO at 10:30 p.m.
Cotto’s first fight in exactly a year, as he returns to New York after last year’s triumph over Sergio Martinez. A win here could get him in with Canelo Alvarez this fall.
June 13: Nicholas Walters vs. Miguel Marriaga & Felix Verdejo vs. Ivan Najera – Live on HBO at 10 p.m.
Walters has been a bit MIA since his huge win over Nonito Donaire so will be good to see him back in action, while Verdejo is one of the hottest and most explosive prospects out there, ready to emerge as a full-fledged contender.
June 27: Timothy Bradley Jr. vs. Jessie Vargas – Live on HBO at 9:45 p.m.
Major step up for Vargas here, so will be interesting to see where he stands against an established fighter, but one always in search of a big win, in Bradley.
July 25: Sergey Kovalev vs. Nadjib Mohammedi – Live on HBO at 10 p.m.
Kovalev vs. Mohammedi is basically a time killer for Kovalev as he takes care of a mandatory, but any excuse to watch Krusher in action is a good one.
