Ryan Garcia called for a future clash with Teofimo Lopez, with both men gearing up to feature on the same card on May 2.
Garcia and Lopez were both sat on the dais during Monday’s second press conference in Los Angeles to promote the Fatal Fury card, which will be staged in Times Square.
‘King Ry’ will face former WBA super lightweight champion, Rolly Romero in the main event, before proceeding with a rematch against Devin Haney in October, if both men are victorious in their respective bouts.
However, the 26-year-old has identified Lopez, who defends his WBO super lightweight championship against Arnold Barboza on the bill, as a future target.
“Teo right there,” Garcia said during the press conference.

“I want that.
“You know I want that.
“I want that belt. I want everything.”
Lopez continued his war of words with Barboza from the first press conference and slapped his rival during the face-off.
Garcia will compete for the first time since his clash with Haney last April was overturned from a majority decision victory to a no contest, after the Californian tested positive for Ostarine.

‘King Ry’ was handed a one-year ban from the New York State Athletic Commission and will feature on the same card as his rival, who meets former unified super lightweight titlist, Jose Ramirez.
The pair had a heated exchange during Monday’s press conference.
“I’m really focused on just whooping Devin Haney’s a** again,” he said.
“That’s all I’m really worried about.

“Not even redeem myself, just that Ostarine bulls****, which you probably did set up.”
Haney hit back: “How did you test positive?
“You took your punishment, because you knew you were guilty.”
Garcia dropped his compatriot three times during their bout in Brooklyn and Haney subsequently sued him following the test result, seeking damages for battery, fraud and breach of contract, although according to ESPN, the pair agreed to pause proceedings for 90 days, while they negotiated terms for a rematch.
“Ostarine don’t help you block a left hook bro,” Garcia replied.
“You got hit like a thousand times.
“You got dribbled off the canvas.”
