Golden Boy Promotions featured eight action packed bouts at the University of Guadalajara Olympic Coliseum in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, which was televised on HBO Plus in Latin America and on TeleFutura’s “Sólo Boxeo Tecate,” in the United States. The most notable result of the evening was that prospect Gilberto Gonzalez, in the headline bout of the evening, was upset by Noe Bolanos, and got stopped with a 5th round TKO. Other prospects on the card, including Marco Antonio Periban, Charles Huerta and Fidel Maldonado got the wins they were setting out for.
