Undefeated WBC middleweight champion and Son of the Legend, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., 46-0-1, 32 KOs), of Culiacán, México, and Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez (49-2-2, 28 KOs), of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will make their Las Vegas Grand Arrivals to officially kickoff Fight Week, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 11, at the South Valet Entrance of Wynn Las Vegas (3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nev. 89109.)
Open to the public, Martínez will arrive at 12:30 p.m. PT, followed by Chávez Jr. at 1:00 p.m. PT. Chávez Jr. and Martínez are six days away from their historic Méxican Independence Day Weekend world championship showdown.
All fight fans in the area are encouraged to come on down and show their support for their fighters, and to take in the spectacle. Of course, across town on the same day, the grand arrivals for Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Josesito Lopez will be taking place. So depending on your own schedule, and the time slots for all of these activities, you may be able to run around town and see some of the biggest stars in the sport all at once.
