Devin Haney lost patience with DAZN presenter, Todd Grisham after he raised question marks over his chin following his fight with Ryan Garcia last April.

Both Garcia and Haney were present in Los Angeles on Monday during the second press conference, ahead of their respective fights on the Ring Magazine card at Times Square on May 2.

Last week in New York, the pair met for the first time since their controversial meeting in Brooklyn last April, when Garcia dropped his rival three times on route to a majority decision victory at Barclays Center.

However, the 26-year-old later tested positive for Ostarine and was subsequently suspended by the New York State Athletic Commission for one year, with his win also wiped from his record.

Haney returns to the ring against former unified super lightweight champion, Jose Ramirez and Grisham, who hosted Monday’s press conference asked Ramirez about his compatriot’s chin.

“A lot of people are going to wonder about the state of Devin Haney’s chin after his fight with Ryan Garcia,” he said to Ramirez.

“Are you going to be able to test that chin?”

Ramirez replied: “Of course I’m going to test the chin.

“That’s my job.

“Even if he was 31-0 with 31 knockouts, my job is to test his chin.”

Haney interrupted and hit back: “I don’t understand what you mean by chin?”

“I got up every single time against somebody that was on PEDs, so that showed that I have a chin.”

‘The Dream’ will tackle Garcia, who headlines the event against Rolly Romero, in a rematch slated for October, providing both men emerge successful and unscathed.

Haney sued Garcia following the test result, seeking damages for battery, fraud and breach of contract, although according to ESPN, the pair agreed to pause proceedings for 90 days, while they negotiated terms for a rematch.

The American promised an improved performance when he steps into the ring with Ramirez, seven weeks on Friday.

“A better version,” the 26-year-old added.

“I’ve been in the gym working quietly behind the scenes.

“Ever since the Ryan fight, just getting better, perfecting my craft and you guys will see a new and improved version of Devin Haney.”
