Eddie Hearn has a two-fight plan for Dave Allen following his rematch win over Johnny Fisher.
Hearn signed Allen after he blew away Fisher in five rounds of their second outing last month, after suffering a contentious points loss in December.
The Matchroom boss has confirmed that ‘The White Rhino’ will headline a card in Sheffield in September or October and is then looking to secure a showdown for him with former heavyweight world champion, Deontay Wilder.
‘The Bronze Bomber’ has won just one of his last five fights and looks to get back to winning ways when he faces Tyrrell Herndon on June 27 in Kansas.
Hearn had long been looking to pit the Alabama man against Anthony Joshua, but has now switched his focus towards a clash with Allen and claims Wilder’s manager, Shelly Finkel is keen on the bout.

“I’ve heard that Shelly Finkel likes the Dave Allen fight for Deontay Wilder,” the 46-year-old told IFLTV.
“If Dave Allen wins in September, I’m going to be doing everything I can to make Wilder-Allen.
“How big is that fight though?
“You know that fight sells out the O2, Manchester Arena, all of those.
“Dave Allen is my new little project.
“I want to make Dave Allen so much money that at the end of it all he can’t stop laughing.”

Wilder was Hearn’s captain for the 5vs5 event against Frank Warren’s Queensberry last June in Riyadh, stopped in five rounds by Zhilei Zhang.
Allen admits he would relish a meeting with the 39-year-old, who was once regarded as one of the most feared heavyweights on the planet.

“I would like Deontay Wilder,” the Doncaster man told talkSPORT.
“It’s just the dream fight.
“Former heavyweight champion of the world, one of the best heavyweights of the last 10 years and I think he’s slipped to the point where I could actually beat him.”
