Eddie Hearn insists Tyson Fury has “no chance” of overcoming Anthony Joshua and has called for the British rivals to finally deliver their long-awaited super fight.

Joshua revealed that Fury remains very much part of his hitlist, after his ruthless fifth round retirement win over Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

A fight has never materialised despite years of previous negotiations most recently last year when a December clash could not be agreed.

Hearn, Joshua’s career-long promoter, is adamant the bout must happen providing ‘The Gypsy King’ beats Oleksandr Usyk, in what is a two-fight deal, on February 17 in Riyadh and becomes undisputed heavyweight champion.

“My god give me Tyson Fury now, please,” Hearn told IFLTV.

“There is absolutely no way Tyson Fury beats Anthony Joshua.

“No way. No way.

“But let’s get behind Fury to beat [Oleksandr] Usyk and let’s get that fight made.

“That is the biggest fight of all-time in the history of the sport, so hopefully he does the business.”

‘AJ’ secured his third straight win since back-to-back defeats to Usyk and his second successive stoppage, having knocked out Robert Helenius in August following a points victory over Jermaine Franklin in April.

The 34-year-old had signed to fight Deontay Wilder for a March 9 showdown in Saudi Arabia, but those plans collapsed after the American’s shock loss to Joseph Parker earlier on Saturday.

The former two-time heavyweight world champion is now expected to face Filip Hrgovic in what could be for a vacant IBF title shot, with the winner of Fury-Usyk expected to vacate the belt.

“Obviously he’s in a position now to fight for the world title against Filip Hrgovic,” Hearn added.

“That’s an option. I don’t know. There’s so many other options out there as well.

“I’m happy with any of those options, because I don’t think anyone beats him when he’s in this mood and he’s only going to get better and better and better.”
