The two big names on the card were prospect Fidel Maldonado Jr, who earned a fourth round TKO over his overmatched opponent, and one of the star’s of the women’s boxing world, Holly Holm. Holm looked great in winning a unanimous decision over Victoria Cisneros.
Next week the “Sólo Boxeo Tecate” broadcast will feature undefeated rising star Omar “Panterita” Figueroa of Weslaco, Texas in an eight-round lightweight main event against Puerto Rico’s Eric Cruz and Capitol Heights, Maryland’s Gary Russell Jr. against Antonio Meza of Mexicali in the eight-round co-feature. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 11:30 pm ET/PT (10:30pm CT).
