Jack Culcay (16-1, 10 KOs) wants to make his breakthrough in 2014. “Either a World or European Championship, I am going to fight for one of those titles before year’s end.” But before the 28-year-old can think of such possibilities, he has to beat Salim Larbi (19-4-2, 7 KOs) on April 5 in Rostock, Germany.

However, the Frenchman wants to get his hands at Culcay’s WBA Intercontinental Belt. Larbi: “I already fought for a world title in 2012, where I came up short. Though, this experience will help me to beat Culcay.” The 26-year-old lost against Lukas Konecny in a fight for the WBO Interim World Championship.

Still, Culcay seems to be relaxed despite those challenging words. “I won’t let Larbi stop me on my way to the top!” If anything, “Golden Jack” wants to improve his knockout ratio to 11 early wins in 18 fights, after having won his last two bouts by decision.

Fight fans are also going to witness a rematch at Stadthalle Rostock, as Dominik Britsch (28-1-1, 9 KOs) will clash again with Soufiene Ouerghi (6-3, 4 KOs). The last time these two fought in December, Britsch won via controversial decision. This time, the middleweight from Germany does not want to leave any doubts.

In the main event on April 5 at Stadthalle Rostock Juergen Braehmer will defend the WBA Light Heavyweight Championship versus former cruiserweight titlist Enzo Maccarinelli. There are still a limited number of tickets available via www.eventim.de.
