Jermall Charlo, Rau’shee Warren & Jamel Herring head up Ramos-Williams undercard

A star-studded lineup will march into the Business Expo Center in Anaheim, Calif. on Saturday, December 8 when undefeated Houston prospect Jermall Charlo, two 2012 United States Olympians and four unbeaten rising stars all take to the ring in undercard bouts leading into the FOX Sports Networks, FOX Deportes and FUEL TV televised main event between unbeaten junior welterweight Luis Ramos Jr. and 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist Ricardo Williams Jr.

In the eight-round junior middleweight co-feature, Charlo puts his 9-0 record on the line against Chicago’s Edgar Perez. Also seeing television time will be 2012 Olympian Rau’Shee Warren facing David Reyes in a four round bantamweight fight. Also in action will be Warren’s Olympic teammate Jamel Herring in his professional debut against Jose Valderrama.

Plus, fight fans watching at home will be treated to two memorable blasts from the past, as the Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz and Sugar Shane Mosley vs. Antonio Margarito classic fights will be aired at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT on FOX Deportes before live action takes place in Anaheim.

The twin brother of fellow undefeated prospect Jermell, Jermall Charlo (9-0, 5 KO’s) has been steadily building his professional resume and he’s made it clear that he wants one more victory before 2013 begins. The 22-year-old Charlo is coming off of a fifth round technical knockout win over Sean Wilson in March, and will look for his tenth straight against Chicago’s Edgar Perez (5-1, 3 KO’s), a Puerto Rico native making his first U.S. start this weekend.

The only three-time U.S. Olympian in history, Cincinnati’s Rau’Shee Warren (1-0) was one of the most decorated amateurs this nation has ever seen. Looking to build a similar resume as a professional, the 25-year-old got off to a good start on November 9 with a four round win over Luis Rivera in his pro debut. On Saturday, he will meet Montebello’s David Reyes (2-2-1) in a four-round bantamweight fight.

Hailing from Coram, New York, junior welterweight Jamel Herring is the latest member of the Class of 2012 to enter the professional fight game. A two-time Gold medalist in the Armed Forces Championships, the former number one ranked U.S. junior welterweight will face Jose Valderrama (3-2, 3 KO’s) of Manati, Puerto Rico in a four round junior welterweight match.

In a light heavyweight bout scheduled for six rounds, Fort Washington, Maryland’s Thomas Williams (10-0, 7 KO’s) will attempt to extend his three-fight first round knockout streak when he takes on Obregon, Mexico’s Ricardo Campillo (7-4-1, 5 KO’s).

Plus, Santa Ana’s Erick Ituarete (3-0) meets debuting San Jose product Noe Lucas in a junior lightweight match, Vallejo’s Gerald Washington (4-0, 3 KO’s) is pitted against Hannibal, Missouri’s Marcus Washington (1-0, 1 KO) in heavyweight action and Toledo, Ohio’s Robert Easter Jr. (1-0, 1 KO) takes on Albuquerque lightweight David Castillo (3-4) in the opening fight. This trio of bouts are scheduled for four rounds each.
